Google Checkout, United States Postal Service Money Order, Cashier's Check, and cash. Paypal is the last payment option available. We discourage payment via Paypal for the reasons outlined in question #3 below.

If you are in the US, you have up to 5 days to make an online payment and up to 8 days if you are sending payment through the mail. If you are outside of the US, you have up to 7 days to make an online payment and up to 14 days if you are sending payment through the mail.

Paypal is forced on buyers on eBay (they own the company) so they believe it to be the safest way to make online payments. In fact, this is not the safest payment method as Paypal are not governed by any official bodies. They have total control of their business including charging high fees for merchants and withholding payments for up to 21 days if they feel necessary plus they have and will access your accounts if they feel it necessary for further monetary gain. Google Checkout is scrutinized by government officials to ensure fair trading and securer transactions. The fees charged to merchants are much less and fairer plus they are not allowed access to your accounts for any monetary reasons. Many merchants are closing their Paypal accounts and opening Google checkout accounts to give their customers a much smoother, safer and more pleasant transaction experience.

I cannot guarantee that I'll receive your payment in the mail. We have to trust the US Postal Service to do their job. It is always best to add Delivery Confirmation, when sending payments this way. It is highly recommended that you use Signature Confirmation for any payments over $100.00 or whatever you are comfortable with. You will have a recorded transaction and will be able to check online when I have received payment. You will, of course, be notified by me when I do receive your payment. I have been selling online since 2002 and received many payments in the mail and so far I have not had any problems.

Purchases will be shipped within 2 business days of cleared payment and I will notify you when your purchase has been shipped. Shipping times can vary but usually take 2-10 working days First Class Mail excluding weekends and public holidays. International shipments can take anything from 1 - 5 weeks and sometimes longer. Make sure that your shipping address is up-to-date both at eCrater, PayPal and/or Google Checkout.

Shipping costs include a small packing & handling charge ($0.50 - $1.50 depending on size of package) and optional insurance at buyer's request ($1.75 upwards) + either Delivery Confirmation ($0.80) or Certificate of Mailing ($1.15).

It is recommended that you insure your items. If you require added insurance (USA only) let me know and I will add it to the shipping cost. Some items will have insurance added to the shipping costs for USA. Insurance is not available for First Class International Mail. International shipments include insurance costs when using Registered First Class Mail International for $10.80 + usual shipping fee.

Buyer must contact Seller within three (3) days after receipt of merchandise regarding all damages/shortages. Items damaged due to customer abuse or neglect will not be considered for credit or replacement. Original packaging is required for all returns. Buyer is responsible for shipping charges on returns.
